Good Grief!

Good grief, indeed! I'm poorly, a virus-y thing , oh and a strange rash! Pray God it's not chicken pox!
Enough exclamations marks, I think. Just to let my regular readers know that I won't be around the blogs for a bit, not until I'm feeling a bit better. You all have a nice weekend and I'll "see" you soon.

Praying you'll get better quick! Surely you had enough sense to get Chicken Pox when you were a girl??? In any case, feel better soon :)

Oh no!

Hubs's sister did get chicken pox 3 times, so anything is possible.

Praying for your swift recovery!

Hugs.

Oh, do get better soon! Any pox when you're beyond age seven is vile! Calamine lotion if it's chicken pox ... this will cool the spots down (I think you can still buy this, can't you?)

Hello DD
I do hope things are quietening down in your home and are less itchy. Dear old Calamine Lotion is the best stand by for all those nasty things.

Anyway I know you have a liking for old cook books so could you pop over and tell me if you've ever heard of the one I mention in this post please. Can't fathom out how to do a direct link but if you copy and paste I hope you arrive there if not come through my name on the comment

Thanks a lot

Take care

This adult got shingles, which is sort of the adult version of chicken pox. A truly lovely ailment. It came from stress after months of lice. That was really fun. A women who used to visit our house a lot had it for ages and didn't tell anyone. The little buggies got into our corduroy couch, and we ended up having to throw it out.

Oh dear, it's been a while since you blogged... I do hope it isn't pox after all! Chin up, I hope you feel better soon - purely selfishly, as I miss your blog posts ;)) (Just teasing, of course:)
